I am here.

2021 – Directions

Hey guys,
me again,
Rhett,
nice to see you.
Friends and friends and family got a book here today called the seven blind mice,
You know,
seven little mice,
different colors.
You can see their tails here,
you know,
let me go find that they all go and they find something and none of them really know what they are.
And every day a new mouse goes,
runs out and climbs up and touches it feels it and and they,
they never know what it is until they,
you know,
they all kind of figure out,
they put all the pieces together and they realize it's not a snake,
it's not a pillar,
it's not a spear,
but it's an elephant.
And you know,
that's how I feel in my life a lot these days is because,
you know,
like I can't see,
you know,
every time I go into the future,
I don't know where I'm going exactly.
And I'm,
you know,
feeling things around,
I'm finding things and finding new tools,
learning new concepts and figuring things out and,
and you know,
sometimes I have the ability or wherewithal to stand back and say,
this is this is this,
this will work this way and this,
this is kind of cool because I can put these together when I put these together,
then I get this new product or I get this new process,
but half the time I really don't really know what is happening,
where I'm going exactly and how I'm gonna get to wherever I really want to go.
So you know,
like the brain my brain is very,
it sits down and says,
well I want to start a school and make all this money and it's like sure it's easy.
Well,
but what are you going to do to do that?
You know,
like what are the steps by steps?
And he's like,
well first I'm gonna do this,
you know,
it's like easy as a B C,
easy as 123.
And then you're like,
yeah,
but you know,
you try to do your one and then all of a sudden something happens and you have to take care of something that's over here.
So you're skipping from 1 to 5 and then,
you know,
like as I,
as I figure things out and gradually I have more wherewithal.
And I'm like,
okay,
I can't go to this too.
So I'll just rename it five.
So instead of doing,
I'm gonna try this,
you know,
one and I'm gonna go here.
I labeled this five,
but actually this is the two.
So I'm gonna go 1 to 2 to here and you know,
like gradually over time,
thankfully,
you know,
I,
you know,
sat down enough times and wrote down and then he raised and then wrote down and then figured out that I kind of do have a road map that allows me to go from March to february to March to april to May and from day one,
day two to day three I learned how to figure out the calendar,
learned how the calendar works with nature and how my books can all fit into that.
But for so many years I,
You know,
I'm like trying out this book and this book and that book and that book and these these resources with those resources and it was like juggling so many balls and it's like you're juggling so many things that you're dropping,
dropping everything,
it's like how do I simplify this and and I still don't know where exactly I'm going with this.
Like I'm sitting here with 20,
almost 20 years under under my belt of teaching in South Korea,
I'm like what's next,
where am I going to go next?
I'm like,
I still don't know I'm gonna figure that out.
But one thing I did do is I threw away a lot of things so now I have less to work with,
so if I don't have it right now it's not an option,
won't be using it.
Alright,
here's to figuring out where we're going next in our life populate,
er bye bye,
thank you for listening.
